Friday, Dec 31st

It's 6:45 in the evening on New Year's Eve and we just finished a great spaghetti meal and are about ready to head off to skid row for a worship night. There is no better way to bring in the new year then hearing testimonies and praising the Lord with all different sorts of people.

The last two days have been incredible. We have been a part of serving over 3,000 meals on skid row, painted nearly a dozen rooms, cleaned and detailed around 10 yards, built fences, put in grass, hosted a carnival and spent a lot of great time with each other and the people of LA.

Everyone is safe and almost everyone is healthy. One girl came down with something today, so pray that the sickness doesn't spread over the next couple days as everyone gets more and more tired.

Last night one of the church plants here in LA cooked a homemade Mexican meal for all 70 of us. The relationships we have been able to form over the years is truly priceless. It is great to see God doing so many things here in the city. The work is hard and the laborers are few, but God's Spirit is doing a great work and it truly is a privilege to be a part of it.

Thank you so much for your ongoing prayers. We truly do feel them and couldn't be doing this without you.

Adam (On behalf of the 2010-2011 LA team)
