Costa Rica update #1

We arrived safely in San Jose, Costa Rica today after a great day of travel. We hit a lot of delays on the way to LAX, but we got there in time to check in and catch our flight. We got off the plane and headed straight to church (our church partner in San Jose) and walked in the service 35 minutes late to a room of people clapping. It was a great time together in church to start the week. Then, all afternoon we have been rekindling relationships and our students have been making lots of friends already today. All in all, it has been a great first day. We plan to do work projects here at the church tomorrow and finish preparations for the camp and then head out on Tuesday morning.

Please pray for the following things...
1. Continued health and safety
2. There is complications with our bus (registration problems) and it needs to get fixed tomorrow so we can leave Tuesday. It is a national holiday here tomorrow, so they need to resolve the issue even though no one will be working (miracle)
3. Pray for open hearts for each team member. I can already see them softening.

Thank you for your prayers.

Adios,

Adam (on behalf of the 2011 Costa Rica team)
