So we are back at church and I have the luxury of looking back on the last four days and picking memorable moments. Moments of hope, where Jesus' love broke through into the lives of kids and pastors. Moments of love, where students encouraged each other. Moments of truth, when God's word was made manifest in students lives.
Through all the weed whacking, campfires, shared stories, big detours and late night conversations, God made himself known in our community. But enough of my vague descriptions, check out these statistics:
175 Workers
traveled to 9 slo county cities
in 19 vehicles and 8 trailers
serving at 30 work project locations
working over 3,300 hours
of community service in 4 days
"The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you and quiet you with his love. He'll rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
May you experience the truth of this scripture like we did the last four days.
