Everything has got off to a great start. Things went very smoothly on Monday. We set up camp in the morning and then headed out to work projects in the afternoon after a short devotional from one of our seniors, Josh Fapp. The 10 teams went out in various directions and accomplished much on the sunny Monday afternoon. We started the evening with some great hamburgers that were bbq'd by Steve and Lisa Pahler and their community group. After dinner, a few high school students led us in some worship and then Mike Smith challenged us from the word as he shared about Zephaniah 3:17.
This morning we got up early, fed ourselves and then Codee Smith (another senior) led us in a devotional. We then headed out in our different directions for the day. We have groups ranging from Santa Maria to Paso Robles to Creston today. This afternoon will be the first afternoon of our carnival for the kids in North Paso Robles(Oak Park). It should be a great time.
Please pray for the following things...
1. Health (some of the leaders are starting to feel sick)
2. Endurance (everyone is doing well now but keep praying)
3. Safety on the jobs and in the vehicles
4. Everyone's attitude to stay positive
5. That people would see the love of Christ in and through us.
Thanks so much for praying and checking in. We rely on your prayers.
Adam (On behalf of the 2011 Project 805 team)
